A favorite for hummingbirds and pollinators. Pineapple sage is a perennial sage that grows well in a pot. or in the ground can become shrub-like. The leaves have a delightful fruity scent and generous taste of pineapple. Makes a great summer tea and we like to use the leaves on top of fruit salad. It presents with tall spikes covered in tiny red tubular flowers. Hummingbirds love it and so do butterflies. It’s a nice addition to any herb garden or flower garden.
